Amigurumi crochet Crab. PDF Pattern for crocheting an original sea creature

This is the crochet pattern for self-crochet toys, not ready-made toys!

Crocheted crab with plastic ball instead of body — is the fourth toy from my marine collection. You can also find patterns by crocheting other sea creatures such as jellyfish, octopus and whale in my store.

The original crocheted crab will definitely not leave anyone indifferent, what these funny eyes of his are worth!

The ball in the middle of the crab's body opens, allowing you to fill it with lights, sweets, sea pebbles and shells or some special souvenir that you would bring back from the sea.

I chose red and orange to crochet my crabs, but in fact, the colour of your crochet crab can be any, because it is special, handmade, so give free rein to your imagination!

For this pattern, you need basic skills in crocheting in a spiral, starting with an amigurumi ring.

The crochet pattern contains 13 pages describing the crocheting process, with photos to simplify the process.

When using the original yarn and hook number, the Crab size is 14 cm

Crocheting density of 5 cm - 16 sc for 18 rows.

It is important to crochet a sample before you start crocheting a toy, because it affects the density and fit of the crocheted detail to the ball.

If your density differs, try changing the hook size, choosing a different yarn, or using a larger ball.

Original materials:

1) Yarn: Friends Сotton 8/4 – 100% cotton, 50g/160m

orange or red and white colors

2) Hook 2.0 mm

3) Stitching needle

4)Plastic eyes safe 8 mm

5) Fiberfill /toy stuffing

6) Clear plastic fillable ornament ball 80 mm

7) Shells or lights for filling the ball

8) Stitch markers and pins for sewing (for temporary fixation of parts)
